Der Ultro S-Motor ist äußerst kraftvoll. Als fitter Fahrer braucht man die volle Motorunterstützung selten, denn das Aventon Current REC rollt schnell und man bekommt selbst im Eco-Modus ausreichend Power für leicht welliges Gelände.
Keinen Finger an der Bremse und ab durch die Mitte: Das X-Fusion-Fahrwerk arbeitet mit extrem wenig Reibung und ist damit sehr feinfühlig. Das schafft sehr viel Komfort und lässt das Current REC zur Sänfte werden.

Die Beleuchtung funktioniert einwandfrei, der Lichtkegel ist quadratisch und hell genug um den Weg nach Hause auf Radwegen oder Feldwegen auszuleuchten.
Das Aventon Current REC konnte mich überzeugen – mehr als sein E-MTB-Brüderchen Current EXP.
